Gentle handling. Plain answers.
An independent small-animal practice on Terenure Road East. Straightforward advice, unhurried appointments, and pricing you see before you agree to anything.
Why Rowan
Small enough to know your pet by name.
None of this is complicated. See you quickly, tell you what's actually wrong, price it honestly, and make sure there's always someone to call if things go wrong out of hours.
Same-week appointments
Most requests get seen within the week, often sooner. We keep space in the diary rather than booking solid a fortnight out.
Never left without care
Outside our own hours, calls divert to a dedicated overnight emergency partner clinic, not an answering machine. It isn't our own 24/7 desk, but you're never on your own with a genuine emergency.
Upfront, itemised pricing
You'll know the likely cost before you agree to treatment, and the invoice matches what we quoted. No surprise call from a strange number after the fact.
Our clinic
An independent practice on Terenure Road East.
Rowan was set up by Dr. Aisling Rowan after a decade working in larger multi-vet practices, where a 10-minute appointment slot often felt like the whole point had been missed. The clinic keeps a small patient list on purpose, longer appointment slots as standard, and the same one or two vets seeing a pet across visits rather than whoever's free that day. It's a small operation: one clinic, a compact team, and a waiting room that rarely has more than two people in it at once. That's deliberate. A pet is not a number on a schedule, and neither is the person who brought them in.
